The Sestosenso project was presented during the R&D Projects Dissemination Event at ISM 2025, the International Conference on Industry of the Future and Smart Manufacturing. The conference was held at University of Malta between 12 and 14 November 2025, focusing on the impact of digital technologies characterizing the 4th industrial revolution.
Sestosenso is a Horizon Europe – Research and Innovation project developing technologies for next generations of collaborative robots capable of self-adapting to different time-varying operational conditions and when human intervention is required either for collaboration or training. The presentation focused on the manufacturing use case, where the worker wears a sensorized exo-skeleton during an assembly task for proximity detection and ergonomic analysis.
We thank our colleague Sabari Anbalagan for his nice presentation to the research community attending the conference!
