In collaboration with LMS-Siemens, an experimental setup of a helicopter blade was analyzed for modal damage detection. The helicopter blade was instrumented with IEPE industrial accelerometers connected to the V-Mon 4000 wireless nodes.

The vibration data was communicated wirelessly in real-time to the central computer running Inertia Studio and further converted to the LMS-Siemens software for modal damage detection and analysis.
